H.O.P.E. Was Here Trailer Premiere

6.28.2013 | by Mark Denega

About time! We're thrilled to finally release the first official two-minute trailer for H.O.P.E. Was Here. Take a look below.

You'll notice from the text at the end of the trailer that the film will be released in 2014. Unfortunately, the restrictions set forth by some film festivals prohibit us from making the movie available to the public before festival screenings. We're still editing the film, and so we'll be applying to festivals with fall submission deadlines and winter/spring festival dates. This means H.O.P.E. Was Here will be available in the winter or spring of 2014, contingent on the festivals we're accepted to. So hey, if the movie really stinks and no festivals want to program it, you get to see it sooner! Please don't wish for that.

Of course, if you're a donor, we'll be sure that you see the film before the public release date. This may be at a private screening, or via an exclusive private link. We know that this fall, there will be at least one private screening of H.O.P.E. Was Here, and that will be, of course, at Stonehill College!

Many thanks to Emilio D. Miler and Andrew Duncan Will, our Composer and Sound Designer, respectively. These guys worked their tails off to make this trailer sound great.

Now, please excuse us while we hole up in a dark room the rest of the summer to finish this thing. We'll get lonely, so please keep us company by saying hello on twitter or facebook. And don't forget about our Newburgh Brewery Fundraiser on July 21! We'd love to see you there and share a cold one.
